We express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Fri 09 Sep 2022We express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her dedication to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to her other realms and territories is unparalleled and we thank her for her service. Our schools and The Primary First Trust will observe the mourning period but will remain fully open and continue to support our pupils, families and staff.

Welcome Back & LessnessCan
Mon 05 Sep 2022Dear Parents / Carers,
Firstly I would like to welcome you all back to school - I hope you had an enjoyable summer break? Lola and I have walked the school this morning and the children all seem happy and settled in their new classes.
I for one had a lovely summer and enjoyed spending time at home with George. Having some time away from school allows me to reflect, but as anyone who works at Lessness Heath will tell you, our children and their families are always at the forefront of my mind.
During the pandemic I decided to create “Lessness Community Aid Network” - or “Lessness CAN” I wanted to help our families who may have been struggling to ensure all the children in our school have enough food and home supplies each day. Lessness CAN is still ongoing, and we support a number of families within our school community.
We cannot ignore the cost of living crisis that we are all currently facing, and I feel that this is the time to remind our families that discretionary support is available for you if you need it.
We have an amazing Inclusion Team at Lessness Heath who know our families very well. If you are reading this and are struggling please just email the office admin with the words “Lessness CAN”. Nothing else is needed and one of our Inclusion Team will be in touch. Mrs Freeman, Mrs Hearn, Mrs Brasnell and myself are always here - as are the rest of my team.
