I am immensely proud to be our Headteacher as Lessness Heath is a wonderful place, full of excitement, vibrancy and enthusiasm. Our children are polite, funny, and eager to learn and each and every one of them is special in their own unique way.

We strive to provide a safe, happy and caring environment where pupils are given every opportunity to develop both academically and personally, achieving their full potential and finding their own way to shine. We encourage and inspire creativity by providing meaningful experiences so that learning is enjoyable, purposeful and memorable, making each and every day in school count. In return we expect our pupils to work hard, always try their best, and act in a thoughtful and considerate manner to others.

At Lessness Heath, we believe that every child’s experience of school should be magical. By providing a wide range of extracurricular learning opportunities, offered alongside our bespoke and innovative curriculum, we encourage our children to explore their imagination and aspire to be the best they can be. Our school ethos of “Inspiring Excellence Together” coupled with our values of Creativity, Aspiration and Nurture run as the golden thread throughout our school, enabling us to support our wider community and enrich the lives of the children and families we serve.

I cannot express just how highly we value working in partnership with our families. We strongly believe that this positive relationship plays a vital role in your child becoming the very best version of themselves possible while in our care and I look forward to getting to know all of our children as individuals.

We have a highly-skilled, caring and committed team of professionals who work across the school in all year groups and in a variety of roles. We celebrate success in all of its forms and develop self-esteem to enable our children to feel secure and confident. Every member of my team and I know only too well how special and unique every single child is. I promise that we will always look after them, keeping them safe and happy, whilst ensuring that we provide them with the highest possible standard of education.
