Jackie Piller – Governance Partner
Appointed as a Governance Partner by the Primary First Trust, I am a qualified Management Accountant currently working in a Transformation and Change environment for a Financial Services Institution.
I am passionate about learning and I’m a learning champion within my organisation, so my appointment as a governor at Lessness Heath enables me to gain a different perspective of the Education system outside of the corporate environment.
My interests are travelling, reading and various craft activities, but most importantly, learning.
Jennifer Long – Staff Governance Partner
My name is Jennifer Long and I have been a school governor for two years now. I have been a teacher at Lessness Heath for seven years and was lucky enough to start my teaching career here so have seen the school grow from strength to strength and am proud to work at Lessness Heath. I currently work in Year Two and am Phase leader for Years 1 and 2. In addition to this, I am Maths associate for the trust and run our volunteers and student programmes at the school; overseeing early careers teachers and trainees. I have always had a passion for teaching and through my role as school governor, I aim to bring an educational input plus provide insight of the amazing things that happen daily at Lessness Heath.
Outside of being a teacher, I enjoy spending my time with family and friends, having fun days with my nephew and nieces. I enjoy running, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.
Rajinvir Guraya Sandher – Staff Governance Partner
I have been an appointed school Staff Governor at Lessness Heath Primary School for over 2 years now.
As a member of staff at the school for 13 years, I have worked in all year groups from nursery to year 6 as a TA, a HLTA and this year have been given the opportunity of working as an unqualified teacher.
As a parent of four children, two of whom have completed their journey at Lessness and two still progressing through, I still very much live and breathe the ethos and values of the school.
Outside my teaching life I love spending time with my family and supporting my children in their extra curricular activities. I also love going to the theatre and cinema as and when I can.
I am very much looking forward to continuing my role this year, especially in getting out to work with the local community in providing better prospects for everyone within our school community.
Adam Theobald – Parent Governance Partner
I am a parent governor and have two children currently at Lessness Heath and one who has already moved on to secondary school.
As a result, I’m highly invested in the school’s performance and ensuring that every child has the best opportunity possible to advance themselves at Lessness Heath.
I am a qualified clinical coder currently heading the clinical coding department at King’s College Hospital and look to bring my skills, experience and connections to the governor role to support leadership of the school.
I have a particular interest in helping to build links between the school and the local community to develop relationships that will continue to drive forward an improved experience for our children.
