School Lunches
School lunches are currently £2.65 per day (£13.25 weekly) for nursery classes.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children receive universal free school meals which are funded by the government.
Years 3-6 will receive free school meals for the current academic year (23/24) which are funded by the Mayor of London.
Families who receive certain benefits are also eligible for free school meal funding (pupil premium) as well as other benefits. For more information on this please take a look at the London Borough of Bexley website. Free school meal application forms are available from the school office.

Baguettes for KS2
As of Monday 22nd January, our catering company will be offering the children in years 3-6 a sandwich option alongside the hot meal menu each day. Each day the children will also have the option of a cheese, tuna mayo or chicken mayo baguette. The attached hot menu options will still be available each day.

Catering services at Lessness Heath are provided by Chartwells.

Their menus are fully nutritionally checked by the expert in-house team and meet the Governments school food standards. Seasonal and nutritionally balanced healthy menus will change twice a year offering variety along with new dishes to stimulate inquisitive minds. They also understand our responsibility of the importance of educating young people on good nutrition and healthy lifestyles via their education programme.
